Stage Right, Enter CHEF! One of the best loved brands in foodservice, the CHEF range of stocks and jus can be reduced and thickened without impairing the overall flavour of a dish – they exist to let you take the leading role! Nestlé’s chefs will be cooking up a storm to show you how CHEF really saves time and adds value in the kitchen, helping you to create the most memorable of dishes.
CHEF will also be topping the bill in La Parade des Chefs kitchens each afternoon, as 16 teams representing the UK’s hottest young talent participate in the heats of the country’s leading competition for hospitality students, the Nestlé Toque d’Or.
In its 20th incredible year, this fast-paced and challenging competition requires students to create a healthy meal for under 600 calories as part of a three-course menu and include the CHEF range as part of the main dish.
Making its debut performance on the Nestlé FoodServices stand is Mövenpick of Switzerland! Come and taste some of the range of premium and indulgent creamy ice creams and sorbets. There are more than 30 luxurious flavours in the range offering a heady mix of fruity notes and sumptuous chocolate and caramel inclusions, all of which are manufactured from 100 per cent natural ingredients.
Want more theatre? At centre stage will be the Nescafé Coffee Company barista style bar. Here, you can enjoy a performance by La Marzocco Linea, a sleek traditional roast and ground machine which delivers a quality real coffee that is a ‘cup’ above the rest. Co-starring are a host of bean to cup and soluble systems – a supporting cast of coffee experts will be on hand to recommend the right solution for your business.
Exhibiting for the first time in six years and with a host of products and initiatives to share with caterers, Martin Lines, Marketing Director, believes that visitors to the show will be surprised by what they see:
